Finally finished with the ASNE convention and a year as president. I'm happy to be back to just having one job -- executive editor of the TNT. And I look forward to getting back to the blog.

Just checking back in. Since the initial postings, Valarie and I traveled to DC to visit the boys, see Michael starring in a student-theater production (Death Takes a Holiday) and watch GW play its last regular-season basketball game (an overtime victory against UNC-Charlotte). We had a great time.

Valarie and I also traveled to China on an ASNE study trip. We went to Beijing and Shanghai and were gone nearly two weeks. Saw a world of difference while there. Will post photos and thoughts in the next few days.
